| Flowers & Senses | Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute
Native to southern Asia, jasmine grandiflorum was introduced to the Middle East in the seventeenth century, then introduced to Grasse for cultivation. This small climbing shrub with semi-evergreen foliage offers large, delicate, star-shaped white flowers made up of 5 petals. It blooms from June to December, giving off a sweet and versatile fragrance, often used as a floral heart.
Transformed into an absolute within our production sites, jasmine grandiflorum reveals a floral, fresh and velvety essence, softer and lighter than jasmine sambac absolute.
