Our Lands of the Senses  I  Episode 4: The Damascena Rose, Bulgaria

In the heart of the Valley of Roses, near the city of Kazanlak in Bulgaria, we work with a producer of Damascena Rose. This emblematic flower of the region benefits from a microclimate that is particularly favourable to its development.

We have been working with a local partner for more than 15 years, allowing us to offer a unique model:
▪️ complete traceability from production plots to processing, as well as the consideration of social and environmental issues through actions dedicated to improving working conditions and protecting human rights.
▪️ Our distillation site, close to the production plots, allows us to secure our supply of essential oil and floral water.
▪️ the continuous improvement of agricultural practices to preserve the environment, biodiversity and agricultural soils.

The Bulgarian Damascena Rose that we offer is now certified Organic and UEBT.
